I never can tell if there is really some insidious 'master plan' at work, or if they are just totally clueless.
How can you not see the master plan? I'll be honest here. I have never considered myself much of a "religious man". I am more interested in business, acquiring wealth, and promulgating my family, children and future grand children.
I learned to reverse engineer things if I wanted success. Just start where you see an end point and work your way backwards little by little until you have enough of the parts to duplicate.
When I applied the same process to Watchtower, I saw an elaborate attempt to dismantle the promises of God in the NT. WT bafoonery is what really got me interested in God again after leaving. That, coupled with much pain in losing my mom to this hideous cult.
Think about it. What are the odds that a "Christian" religion would piece together an elaborate scheme of spiritualizing old testament themes to arrive at the conclusion that people can get saved by rejecting a deal brokered by a man who walked out of a tomb that guaranteed the forgiveness of sins?
Matthew 26:27-28New International Version
27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Master plan? Nah, it was just an accident.
